No. LOLA works for any thorough examination of lifting equipment and accessories. Anything not in the catalogue can be added as your own item, with its load ratings and lifetime.

Yes. Whole examinations can be recorded offline, and everything syncs as soon as the device is back online.

Yes. Import previous reports as PDFs, or registers saved as CSV, Excel or OpenDocument spreadsheets, in almost any column layout.

LOLA's reports are laid out against Regulation 9 and Schedule 1 of LOLER 1998 and follow the intervals in the Approved Code of Practice. Compliance itself sits with the competent person and the duty holder, as the regulations intend.

At least every six months for equipment used to lift people and for lifting accessories, and every twelve months for other lifting equipment, unless an examination scheme sets different intervals.

It is marked quarantine or retire, listed separately on the report as a defect that is or could become a danger, and carries the Regulation 10 wording about notifying the enforcing authority.

No. A completed examination is locked. Any change is made through a recorded correction, so the original stays on file.

Yes. As well as the PDF, LOLA exports an Excel workbook with a summary, the full schedule and items requiring action, for clients who keep their own registers.

No. You send the duty holder a private, read-only link and it opens in any browser. There is nothing to install and no password to remember.

Links run for 90 days. You can send a new one at any time, and close a link early once it has done its job.

Pre-use checks remain the user's responsibility. LOLA prints an interim inspection checklist for each kit, based on its last examination, for the checks carried out between thorough examinations.

Yes. Send them a private upload link. They can upload past reports and registers but cannot see anything else, and the files arrive in your Uploads.

In London. Each company only sees its own clients and records, enforced in the database as well as in the app.

Colleagues join by invitation as owner, admin, examiner or viewer. Owners and admins control settings, and only an admin can delete a colleague's work.

Yes, at any time. If a company account is closed, there are 30 days to export before anything is deleted.

LOLA acts as a processor for your client data, with processing terms in the terms of service, a privacy notice, an activity log and tools for exports, retention review and deletion requests.

LOLA is free during early access. After that it is one plan per company, at £45 a month or £450 a year plus VAT, with a small charge for each extra examiner. Every company will get at least 60 days' notice before charging starts. See the pricing page.

No. Viewing records through a LOLA link is always free for your clients.
